The Quarantine Kitchen: Triple Chocolate Brownies


250g dark chocolate
250g butter room temperature and diced
85g nuts – Optional
85 g white chocolate – Optional
85g milk chocolate – Optional
175g flour
1 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
1 vanilla pod
300g sugar


1. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water stirring regularly so it melts quickly and evenly
2. Add sugar and mix well
3. Add eggs and mix well
4. Add flour and mix well
5. Add chocolate, nuts and vanilla and mix
6. Bake at 160 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When it starts to crack on the top it should be ready. The middle will be wet but the mix should be firm if you shake the tin.
