Sunday Service: Concerts
with Phantasy Trio
Showcasing the most exciting and
inventive names in classical music
This event has now finished.
Join us every Sunday for a concert showcasing the most exciting and inventive artists in classical music.
Whether you’re new to the genre or a seasoned sonata fan, our programme of work has something for everyone, from Baroque and Romantic to experimental new work and improvisation.
The Phantasy Trio, formed in 2010, first met as undergrads at Cambridge University, and since studied for their Masters at the Royal Academy of Music. They have enjoyed performing in concerts and competitions to critical acclaim, winning the Nancy Nutall Prize and appearing at leading concert venues internationally. The Phantasy Trio enjoys a continuing exploration of the repertoire for this exquisite and interesting combination of sound-worlds, discovering new works as well as performing the more traditional repertoire.
As soloists, they enjoy busy performing careers, Peter Mallinson in the BBC Symphony Orchestra; Rosemary Taylor a busy freelance clarinettist; and Gregory Drott, the Director of Music at St Stephen’s, alongside working on his PhD at Cambridge University and enjoying performing across the country.
