Access information

The Boulevard aims to be accessible and enjoyable for all our customers.

Mobility impaired and wheelchairs

The theatre has a ground floor entrance and automatic entrance door. We have level access to a lift which serves all levels (including to the auditorium and restaurant). The lift is fitted with low level controls, audio announcements, relief controls and Braille lettering.

There are flat-level access seats available in the Stalls and the Balcony. Wheelchair spaces are available in the Stalls. You are invited to contact us for more details and if you need to book a wheelchair space. Wheelchair spaces are available to book online by Access Members.

The theatre has unlocked accessible toilets on all levels.

If you would like to bring an assistance animal to the theatre, you are invited to contact us in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

If we can do anything to assist with a visit, you are invited to email us or call 020 3968 6849.

Visually impaired

Guide Dogs may be brought to the venue and, during the performance, we can dog-sit for you. If you would like your guide dog to be looked after during a performance, you are invited to contact us in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Audio described performances (including touch tours) are available for theatre productions running for longer than two weeks. These performances offer live commentary via personalised headphones for blind or partially-sighted patrons. As our seating plans can vary from show-to-show, we recommend that customers contact us to find the most suitable seats for using headsets. You will also be invited for a pre-show touch tour of the set (accessing the stage before the performance, exploring the space and handling selected costumes, props and furniture) and can be sent audio show notes via email in the week prior to the performance.

If we can do anything to assist with a visit, you are invited to email us or call 020 3968 6849.

Hearing impaired

There is a digital radio frequency Sennheiser hearing system in the auditorium. Headsets and hearing loops for use with or without a hearing aid can be collected from the box office.

Hearing Dogs may be brought to the venue and, during the performance, we can dog-sit for you. If you would like your hearing dog to be looked after during a performance, you are invited to contact us in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Captioned performances are available for theatre productions running for longer than two weeks. These performances offer captions in English displayed on a unit near the stage. As our seating plans can vary from show-to-show, we recommend that you contact us to find the most suitable seats for accessing captions.
